BVFT is a non-profit event with a simple goal: to share meaningful stories with our community and support local filmmakers in telling the stories that need to be told. It’s a small, warm festival focused on true community-to-community engagement. This year’s screening in Golden includes films like Echo of Turns, about Nagomi Sushi owner Shikaichi Ueki; Embers, starring Glacier aerialist Sasha Galitzki, who often trains here in Golden ; and a small film by Gail Liang : Another Winter Passed. We’ll also be showing work by other filmmakers from the surrounding area. Chances are you’ll recognize some of the people in these films—and many of the places too. https://www.bowvalleyfilminstitute.org/ 👈 Get tickets now
